I dont want to sound like the typical pretencious teenage blogger but yesterday when I was walking down Grafton Street (so many memories) I was stopped by the street Style journalist for Image magazine. So this is the outfit I was wearing on that spontainious occaision.

It was just a simple outfit going out shopping with my mom, aunty, cousin and granny. After we went for cocktails in The Morgan, which is pretty expensive but it was a special occaision. There was something about the dress and the Cosmopolitan in my hand that made me feel like Carrie Bradshaw...minus the fabulous Manolos. I was treated to some lovely gifts aswell that included:

well im back. italy was amazing. rome was truely amazing.

rome is like paris except steeped in much more hisyory and ruins. everywhere you go is historical.

and people dont lie when they say italian boys are gorgeous. basically the entire population of italy is beautiful. ohh i miss italian boys. so manerly. so charming.

i have the get the pictures uploaded. although pictures wouldnt capture the magic of the ancient city.

i bought a lot of clothes and bags when i was over there. even a louis vuitton bag. love it.

which reminds me that i still have some gifts to give to friends.

a few days ago i went to lv with friends. its was fun. we dressed up and went to a new makeup store inglot or something. i was really inpressed it was really cool. and we got free brushes and stuff. oh and i got free tights in topshop. the dude who worked there just gave them to me. i love him. i got a nice top in topshop too. although i would wear it as a dress. and a pretty dress in h&m. a lot of dressing up went on in h&m. i paticulary like the black pleather skirt. twas awesome.

only a few more days until im off to rome, two and a half to be exact.

i cant wait to get outta leixlip. leave ireland and its unpredictable weather.

for some strange reason i always want what i can never have. like a certain someone. i didnt like him when he liked me but since he is now taken i want him. its very childish but you need something like that to happen to really admit your true feelings.

or another really annoying aspect of life is when just say you see an amazing dress in topshop but the probelmo is you dont have enough cash so you wait to get it the next week but its either out of stock, not in your size and the worst of all you see someone take the last one. makes me go grrrrrrrr!

i find it really strange how the songs on my ipod can tell a story of my life. for instance i was thinking about someone and the song 'i'd lie' by taylor swift can on.

the day is done and im posting yet another blog. not an extremly productive day but ohh well its a sunday after all. i watched connfeshions of a shopaholic and i really think im going to turn out like rebecca when i am older. it was a lovely movie. funny and romantic. maybe a little bit predictable but ohh well. its not a thriller.

after i watched role models. i really enjoyed it. i loved the characters especially rodney (bobb'e J.thompson). one of my favourite lines was rodney calling danny (paul rudd) ben affleck. "you white you ben affleck!" it just cracks me up. or when augie (christopher mintz-plasse) shouts "my mother is not a whore!" during the mock battle at L.A.Y.E.R. it had me in stitches.

i also watched skins with my mom and sister. skins is one of my favourite programmes ever. from the clothes to the character to the style of filming and every episode stars a different charcter.

my mum said effy is like me. i found that strange because really i dont think im anything like her. shes very dark and lacks compassion for the people she loves like her family.

i suppose i sometimes can be quite didtant from reality and people. i like being by myself sometimes and i dont know what i am feeling.

to be honest im like a mix between effy and cassie(series 1&2).

saturday afternoon and im fuck tired! im also fucking lazy. just enjoying a nice quiche and pink lemonade, a real summer meal.

I think saturday was invented to be a lazy day. I got up at about half one had some nice jasmine tea, flicked through some magazines, watched skins-it always keeps me amused and got dressed at fucking five o'clock. Thats a saturday. I hate when people get up early on saturdays,cake themselves in make-up wear horrible illuminous nylon clothes and go out drinking from one till fucking midnight. what they should ask themselves is does anyone really give a fuck?

Rant over i promice.

I have been looking through old pictures and i decided to post them on the blog. i am so happy to have two followers already, they will probaly be the only two anyway. but im very grateful, thank you. its very much appreciated.

Well got to go enjoy the rest of my 'lazy' saturday.

what disapoints me is there is never anything good on the tv on saturdays anymore.

We all have wants in life, but we often mistakes our wants as needs.

For instance, i thought i needed a quilted chanel bag but that was very materialistic of me. i dont need it i want it.

Im at my dressing table in my room and I was contemplating on the pictures i have taken in the past year. I was inspired to write about the highs, lows and things I hope to accomplish.

here we go.....

1. I started a blog.Finally.

2. I pushed away someone in my life who meant a lot to me. But I really didn't want to get my heart broken again.

3. I made new friends. Im not going to go into detail about this.

4. I figured out some really important things:
I. My family are very important.
II. Boys aren't everything.
III. I make mistakes.
IV. I dont have to have a boyfriend to be happy or fit in.
V. Im not perfect.

5. I set new goals for myself.
I. Start an amazing portfolio.
II. Get a part time job.
III. Apply for work experience with art galleries and designers.
IV. Work harder at everything I do.
V. Do something(s) to make my parnets really proud.

6. I fell for a million and one guys that I shouldnt have. And to those guys i would have to say thank you. Because even though you may have totally fucked me over at certain points. At other points i would not have been able to keep going without you.

7. I realised that even if im having a bad day or am in a fucked up mood, i have to considor other peoples feelings and not bring them down. Im sorry for all the stupid fights i had with friends and family that i caused by being a complete bitch.

8. I learned that I really have amazing friends. Ive seen a lot of shit between other friends this year, and groups breaking up and i just thank god that my friends would never do that.

And with that, im out.

Summer is truely amazing. The time to wear flower pattern dresses and chic short shorts and not having to look foolish. I was out with my mom the other day, shopping in cute shops for something nice and I found a gorgeous vintage-y purple maxi dress that I just had to have in my possesion!
It was quite simple and had no pattern but equally divine. I Also bought six gold bangles and a twisted chunky gold chain teamed with gold gladiator sandles to give the dress a lovely greecian style.

Why I love maxi dresses:

1) You can dress them up or down. going to the beach? Pair it with fip flops and and headband you have a nice but effortless day look. Teamed with chunk gold jewlery and gladiator sandles for a chic night look.

2) Another terrific characteristic of the maxi is its ability to flatter just about any figure.

3) They are very hippie-glamorous.

4) They are a summer staple. In hot weather a maxi is perfect for cooling down.

5) A lot of celebrities have been seen wearing them like Nicole Richie, Kate Hudson and Kate Moss.
